Popis projektu:na stránke Európskej komisie

Sumár projektu:The main topic of our project is to remind our students of our forgotten cultural heritage and our values and awaken our universal values by raising awareness in all nations that have a common past. Also project focuses on creating cultural, multicultural and intercultural awareness, observing and appreciation of cultural diversity in unity, re-bridging the supposedly existing gaps among cultures, overcoming the prejudices and the sense of "othering", intolerance and the lack of communication. We have determined our reasons for implementing the project in terms of this main objective as follows In recent years, despite the fact that the visual-written media are actively used by students, their shortcomings in the concept of cultural heritage have been determined. The students don't have enough cognitive level about natural, tangible and intangible cultural heritage accepted by UNESCO, and they are lack of awareness in this respect. They aren't at the desired level in national and international cultural heritage issues. When we consider the content above: Our first aim to prepare a pedagogical base to improve Lisbon Basic Competences such as learning how to learn, interpersonal, intercultural and social competences,,citizenship competence, cultural expression and communicating in mother tongue and a foreign language including the proposes of effective methods.Other aims are To define the natural, cultural, tangible and intangible components of cultural heritage and give examples etc. To identify the similarities and differences between traditions of different cultures. To close the gap between those who perceive the diversity of societies as threats and as enrichment of the community. To recognize and introduce all aspects of cultural heritages of our country and the other countries.According to this, firstly, we noticed a need in the partner schools that they are lack of European identity and knowledge about their towns, origins and heritage, which links our priorities. As last year (2018) was called as European Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, it will be more meaningful to teach how important cultural heritages and values are to target students and in partnership. Because there weren’t effective activities for European Cultural Heritage at our schools. We want to do an effective project for this. Thus, the project will help the individuals of all ages to appreciate the richness of their own local cultural heritages as well as leading them to perceive themselves as an innate member of a greater whole by contributing to the formation of a European citizenship identity. All these resulted in the application for this Project. All partners prepared surveys to evalute the level of pupils’ cultural heritage awareness(This part was explained in Follow up section). The project was called as “5 Heritages and 6 Inheritors” . Because there are 5 different cultural values for studying in the Project, and 6 countries that participate in it. -We have planned 6 meetings, from which, one is staff training. The priorities addressed by our project: Introducing international cultural heritages to disadvantaged students and giving these students opportunity to introduce international cultural heritages to others in order to make them the shareholders in the transnational communication and develop the spirit and consciousness of being a world citizen. The most relevant topics addressed by our project are: Access for disadvantaged students Social Interaction Cultural Awareness Creation of protection and transfer The expected results are as below: -Being able to explain at least one tangible, intangible cultural heritage from our country and partner countries. -Having an idea about the measures for protecting and transferring them to the future. -Participation in European projects is the only way to get in touch directly with other young people and to understand the lives, cultures and ways of thinking of others for most of our students. -In intercultural dialogue, they will also examine their own culture and civilizations in a critical attitude and also they will learn to be tolerant to the different cultures. - They will learn that besides being from different countries, we all belong to Europe and that we plan joint projects to understand each other better and we must fight against racism and accept the diversity of cultures. Students will acquire new skills beyond the project, which they can use in their private and professional life. In project work, they will plan and carry out their work flows. They will use different communication methods.
